The Savage Garden: Cultivating Carnivorous Plants
Peter D'Amato
Lead - Kylie Scott

Stubborn is how I would describe the lead singer.  Because of him, it took him and Lena forever to get together. I was starting to feel sorry for Lena and actually wanted her to follow through on her threat to quit.  Lucky she hung in there becuase I loved their relationship. Looking forward to book 4.

Play - Kylie Scott

I loved book 2 more than book 1 because I really loved Mal's goofy personality.  He reminds me of Damon on Vampire Diaries.  Also, there was no sex for the more than the first 50% of the book.  There's nothing worse than boring drawn out sex to ruin the book. I love that Mal was a softy to Anne but all macho in front of their friends.

True Love Story - Willow Aster

The first few pages started with my mind wandering and incapable of focusing on the story. I thought that I was doomed but the story got better.  Probably at about the 25% mark I couldn't put the book down an it stayed like that for the rest of the book.  The editing was almost perfect with no typing errors to distract me. If it weren't for the first few pages I would have given this book perfect stars. I would definitely read more from this author.

Me Before You - Jojo Moyes

I'm recommending this book to everybody I know.  The romance was very slow building and not overwhelming at all but very romantic.  I don't think I cried as much as I did while reading this book.  It was quite emotionally draining but that's what I love about the story.  (I had to eat ice cream afterwards)

Loving Mr. Daniels - Brittainy C. Cherry

I couldn't put this book down. The story kept moving forward at a steady pace. I read 70% of the book in one day and that was even with doing my regular Sunday chores.  There were many real life issues intertwined in the story.  It dealt with real life and there was an adequate amount of romance.  I can't wait to read more of this author's books.

New to booklikes

I'm new to booklikes and don't really know how to use the site.  Let me know if you have any suggestions.  Just discovered an import feature.  It would have saved me a lot of time if I had found it earlier.

I've added all of the books I've ready since about 2011.  I'm using this site more to track what I've read than a reviews site as I tend to not write reviews.
